A lifelong resident of Las Cruces, Justin was raised in the Mesilla Valley by entrepreneurs. His father is a pecan farmer, who at one time owned and operated a successful concrete company as well. Justin is a graduate of Mayfield High School and New Mexico State University where he studied Architectural Drafting. Upon completion of his degree, Justin went to work for Williams Design Group for 9 years. He later worked for ASA Architects prior to joining the SWAT team. Justin serves as a board member with the Las Cruces Home Builders Association.

Tara is native of Hatch, New Mexico and is a graduate of Hatch Valley High School. She has lived in the area all her life. Tara attended New Mexico State University before pursuing a License in Massage Therapy. Tara’s prior work experience includes a background in finance with 16 years in the banking industry. She has been married for 17 years to Rey Munoz, Assistant Principal at Vista Middle School. They have 2 children, Alexis and Aaron, with whom they spend most of their time with – coaching and traveling with their sports teams. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
